I don't believe leaving the company that you had signed an I-9 form with have any impact on your GC app as long as you have a same or a similar job lined up if and when you do get an RFE regarding the same.
As mentioned several times, GC is for future employment and you can switch employers as many times as you want under AC21 (of course you don't want to go overboard with switching employers every few months either :)).
I hope this helps - again this is my understanding of the law and not a legal opinion.

have u seen the legal immigration/ foriegn workers issue address by Bush today. althou he spoke just 1-2 sentences. stating that ' legal immigration system needs to be fixed, so that foriegn workers are in no harm

These tough times for folks like me have been there for the past several years. Now, I am hoping the letters campaign does make an impact and get the much required good will.
As a side note, seems like the writers have sort of given up already on his last year of his presidency as the entire speech was rather mundane. In a troubled time for the entire country with the economy down, house market bust, recession looming, he chose to highlight the past and glorify to garner legacy.
Will it be a year of inaction? I hope not, lets us do our bit by supporting efforts of IV.

This may be a RFE... keep in touch with your law office.
I am not sure if someone is in same situation.For my I140 it says the following
Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.
On April 1, 2009 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.
I am not sure what does this mean. If some one can throw some light.

You are absolutely correct. The original poster's information indicates that no I-485 is pending, so I wasn't thinking about the AP alternative.

some where i read in the forum if we leave the country without the approval of ap our 485 status will be abonded.
If you leave the country after getting your I-485 receipts then its okay whether you get your Advance Parole papers or not since you are going for H1 stamping and are not going to use AP anyway.
It does not matter. Some people do not even file for AP if they are going to use their H1 visa to re-enter the country.
But remember your I-485 receipt is very important. Always keep it handy ( do not leave without it ):)

I'm with Michael on the lizard shot ... maybe it's the disconnected rear foot that makes it look odd.
I REALLY like the water lily shot, Josh. The composition is beautiful, with the other lily pads forming a "circle of circles" counterbalance to the flower. Very, very nice ... in fact, probably my favorite of all your posted photos. (not that I have anything against the others)

I was following a tutorial that was for photoshop 7 and all was going well untill it said to drag the "grid channel" onto the "load channel as a section"...!!!

On USCIS website, my I131 messages says as Document approved and..so on on Nov 1. Till date I haven'yt recd. any copies yet. Will it come to me or Lawyers?
